Jessie Valiao Jr. (born May 12, 1981) is a highly accomplished Network and Storage Support Engineer with over 20 years of extensive experience in the IT industry. Jessie has a proven track record of designing, implementing, upgrading, and migrating complex network and storage solutions. Known for delivering exceptional customer service and consistently maintains a positive attitude, even in challenging circumstances.

With a robust educational and technical background, Jessie holds multiple industry-recognized certifications. Throughout his career, he has mentored and trained engineers across Australia and New Zealand, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing within the teams. He is recognized for his self-motivation and dedication to professional growth, always striving to make a meaningful impact in every role.

His expertise spans a wide range of technologies, including Cisco, NetApp, Fortinet, Microsoft, and various server hardware like DELL, HP and IBM to name a few.


Early life and education


Jessie attended high school at Northern Luzon Adventist College (NLAC) in Pangasinan, Philippines. At the age of thirteen, he joined a group of self-supporting students during summer breaks to help alleviate his family’s financial burdens. This group of literature evangelists went door-to-door, selling life-changing books and magazines to both residential and commercial offices.

During these times, Jessie lived hundreds of kilometers away from home with fellow students, learning the values of independence, hard work, and perseverance at an early age. The money he earned covered his accommodation, food, transportation, and school fees for the next year. This experience provide great satisfaction, and beyond the financial support, this experience was invaluable in building his character, instilling qualities of dedication, perseverance, independence, and kindness. Jessie graduated high school as Class Valedictorian, achieving the highest marks and serving as a class leader.


Jessie earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Lyceum University of the Philippines (1998-2003). His high school achievements earned him a full university scholarship. He also joined the chess club and became a Varsity player, representing the university in competitions.
